The design
Adie 'Smudger' Smith. More than two hundred appearances in a Kiddy shirt, and a legend for every one of them.
Two hundred games is not a spell at a club, it is years of somebody's life given to it. Stitched rather than printed, which felt right for a name held this long. Just as good on a Saturday afternoon as a Tuesday morning.
The garment
- 100% organic ringspun combed cotton
- 180 gsm, single jersey
- Medium fit, set-in sleeve
- 1x1 rib at the neck collar, self-fabric neck tape
- Double-needle topstitch at the sleeve and bottom hems
Printed properly
Direct-to-garment printing puts the design in the fabric, not on top of it. No plastic patch, no cracking, no peeling after a few washes — just a shirt that still looks right in three seasons.
Wash inside out at 30°C, hang to dry, and keep the iron off the design.
