The design
Stuart Rimmer. Over Three hundred and fifty appearances and more than a hundred and eighty goals. Club legend is a phrase handed out far too easily; this is what it is supposed to mean.
For anyone who watched him do it, and for everyone who has had it described to them since. Stitched rather than printed. Matchday, and the long way home.
The garment
- 100% organic ringspun combed cotton
- 180 gsm, single jersey
- Medium fit, set-in sleeve
- 1x1 rib at the neck collar, self-fabric neck tape
- Double-needle topstitch at the sleeve and bottom hems
Stitched, not printed
Premium embroidery: real thread, real texture, a bit of weight to it. Nothing sitting on the surface to fade or lift, so it wears in rather than out. It is the finish people notice without quite knowing why.
Wash inside out at 30°C, hang to dry, and keep the iron off the design.
